Answer:
Commercially available wart removers are the best things to use, but they do take a while. Warts are tough to kill off, as you have discovered. It can take months of daily treatments to get them to shift off. Since it's on your hand, a doctor can use liquid nitrogen to freeze it, but it will have to be repeated several times to finally do the job. The skin on the hands is rather thin, and the muscles, tendons, and bones are close by- so you can't freeze too deeply at any one time or you'll damage them. Home remedies that will kill a wart are just guaranteed ways to damage your hand, and most don't work. So either find an over the counter preparation, and stick with it for several months, using it every day, or go see the doctor. It might not be a bad idea to have it looked at anyway, to be certain that it is actually just a garden variety wart. Then you can discuss the removal options with a professional.
compound W . it really works.it's worth the money too.it'll go away incredibly quickly
I would suggest using Dr. Scholl's Freezing Wart Remover. This works very well, but if you have already used this, I would advise you to use Dr Scholl's BandAid Wart Remover. It's very simple, all you do is place a medicated band-aid on your wart, and replace it every 12 hours, and it should be gone in a matter of days!
vitamin E (the cheap stuff is ok). Poke a hole with a pin and squirt some on the wart, cover with a bandaid. Re-do as needed when your band-aid comes off. Should take about a week. You might want to keep doing this for a few days after the warts gone to make sure it won't come back.
I know this works on regular warts. Idk about one you've had for years, but it's worth trying. It might take a little longer.
