HELP! I got a wart frozen off and now I am in pain!?

It has been 3 days. I actually got three frozen off, and this is the only one that hurts. It is in a horrible spot: right under my big toe and the blister (I think it is a blister) is starting to grow between my big toe and the next toe. It feels like a paper cut right between! I cannot walk right . It has turned black (unlike the other ones). I thought this was supposed to happen and then fall off, but it hasn't fallen off yet. I am planning on calling the doctor when the office opens, but until then, what can I do to ease the pain and the pressure? I have taken advil and that doesn't seem to help. It is summer time, and I cant even wear flip-flops! Does anyone have any advice? Also: I am in a dance recital a week from today and the shoes I have to wear go right between my toe. I also have a rehearsal tomorrow. Any suggestions, because I don't think this thing is going to disappear and I'm sure it will still be painful! Thanks
Answer:
I had the same thing done last summer. It was sooo painful for about a week. I couldn't walk in shoes or sandals either. I pretty much hung out at home in bare feet.
As for turning black, that's normal.
It took alot longer than I thought to go away. After a month I could still see a wart, and I thought great I'll have to go to the Dr again. After about 3 months it was totally gone, and now you can't even tell where it was on my foot.
Try taking extra strenght tylenol for the pain, and maybe get some sort of cushioning to put in your shoe. good luck

Help! I can't stop slouching, is there any exercises that i could do to help my posture?

I play on the computer a lot and I tend to slouch, I always try to sit up straight but I always end up slouching again. Please help with any suggestions
Answer:
It's good that you are aware of your slouching and correct it when you notice it. Thats half the battle. There are exercises to help build the strength in your upper back/shoulders called T's, I's, and Y's. They are so named because you will make the shape of the letter with your body. Lay on your bed face down, roll up a hand towel and put it under your forehead (this aligns the neck and keeps you from squashing your nose!). Bring your arms out to the side so you make the shape of a T. Raise and lower your arms 10 times. Next move your arms into a Y shape and raise and lower 10 times. Next move your arms straight forward (so they almost touch your ears) into an I shape and raise and lower 10, next bring them down to your side (palms up) also an I shape and raise and lower 10 times. Do 3 set of 10 each day.
Concentrate on your core. Sit ups/Crunches...hanging knee raises..reverse woodchop w/ a medicine ball
My doctor told me to stand up and balance a book on top of my head for 15 minutes a day
theres a chair i have that really strengthens your back. theres one part that you put your knees on and the other part is for your butt.
yogA
just sit up.
whenever you notice yourself slouching, just lean back against your chair.
hope this helps. :)
It might sound barbaric, but tying or taping a board to your back and shoulders is about the best way to deal with it. If you have a board tied to you, it is really hard to slouch. Either that or go see your doctor about it and see if they have a brace for you to wear.
Take a hanger, put it upside down inside your shirt on your back. The straight part should be across your shoulders and the hook that hangs down the middle of your back.
Yoga or pilates.

Answer:
pills, hot shower or bath or hot tub if u can, then get some of those heated pads ull be fine :)
try advil/alleve, a hot tub, and relaxing. it will go away with time.
Ibuprofen!! OTC pain killers
what always helps people is to just go do some running. itll loosen you up a little.
try this.bengay have this body patches. They work wonders cause I do alot of exercising and I use it for my ab pain
Take a soak in warm water with magnesium in it. The magnesium is absorbed by the skin.
Also, try to get a little exercise just to loosen up your muscles. Drink lots of water and rest.
Try not to take pain medicine if it is not absolutely necessary. The more products and chemicals we put in our bodies, the more "impure" and "un-natural" we are. I believe that these products contribute to a shortened life and some diseases such as auto-immune and cancer.

HELP! How do I relieve this pain?

A few days ago I noticed if I laid flat on the floor and then pushed my bottom %26 lower back up with my legs, I would get this intense pain just on the left side of my lower back - I didn't have a problem with that, I figured I must have slept funny or something.Well it's continued and I thought maybe it was just something normal I just never noticed, but today it spread to my right lower back as well, and the pain got worse, so I took to moving on one side before getting up - but when I did this the pain shot down into my hips and the joint at the top of my legs to my hips. It now hurts even to sit on the floor with my legs crossed. How do I get rid of this pain?
Answer:
if its in the muscle go see a massage therapist, they may be able to relieve the pain for you. If its in your lower back then that means its in the lumbar region of the spine. But if its the actual spine hurting then you may have to see a chiropractor because massage therapists can only help with the muscle.
Go to a chiropractor he can fix it with a few sessions
Go to the choirpractor (sorry about the spelling, not sure how to spell it). Sounds like something in your back needs adjusted.
Go to a docter or Chiropractor (i think i spelt that wrong!)

Help! how can i get a splinter out?

it is a little splinter pretty deep in there. not infected or anything. it is in the side of my right hand, like on the pinky side of my palm when it is face up. please answer quickly it hurts soooo bad.
Answer:
Method no 1
Take some wood glue like Elmers Glue or any other wood glue and put a drop right on the splinter. Smear it just a bit and let it dry. After it is dry just peel it off in the direction the splinter went in (so you don't break it off) and the glue will pull the splinter out for you!!
method no 2
1. Wash your hands.
2. Irrigate the affected area with a liquid antiseptic such as Betadine, or just wash the affected area.
3. Make a paste using water and about 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.
4. Put this paste on a bandage and apply the bandage to the affected area.
5. After 24 hours, remove the bandage and rinse the area. The splinter will be sticking out of the skin and you or the child will be able to remove it easily.
May have to be repeated.
try getting it with tweezers, if its not poking through your skin, then try squeezing it until its nearer to the surface
get some tweezers or needle and have someone pick it out
a needle/tweezers work. to grab it.Another way would be to put some elmers's glue on it...let it all dry, and then peel the glue off like you did in elemetary school!!
If it is sticking out, put a piece of tape over it, it will pull it out better than digging at it with tweezers. If it is not sticking out, you need some sort of salve that draws it out.
I use tweezers first if that fails I get a sewing needle and poke my skin under the splinter and force it out. I get mine out everytime
Using Elmer's Glue To remove a splinter, simply apply some Elmer's glue over the splinter. After the glue dries, peel it off and the splinter will often come out also. This is especially helpful on children who are frightened by tweezers and needles. Our family relies on this method of splinter removal as it is painless. By Barbara Hauser Using Scotch Tape When you get a splinter, reach for the scotch tape before resorting to tweezers or a needle. Simply put the scotch tape over the splinter, and then pull it off. Scotch tape removes most splinters painlessly and easily.
Step OneTry to "milk" out the splinter by gently squeezing your fingertips on each side of it. If this doesn't work, try the following steps.
2Step TwoIf you're worried about causing pain, rub the splinter site with a numbing teething gel or ice before removing the splinter. Keep in mind, however, that chilling the area may cause the splinter to retract from the top of the skin and may make its removal more challenging.
3Step ThreeClean a needle, a pair of tweezers and a small pair of nail clippers with isopropyl alcohol and let it air-dry. Be sure to swab the pinching surfaces of the tweezers and the cutting edges of the nail clippers.
4Step FourUse soap and water, or antiseptic solution, to wash the skin where the splinter has lodged itself.
5Step FiveWith the tip of the needle, make a small hole in the skin above the splinter. Once you have access to the splinter, gently try to squeeze it through the hole. If necessary, increase the size of the hole with the needle. Use your tweezers to pull out the splinter as soon as you can get hold of it.
6Step SixIf you're not able to open a path for the splinter with the needle, use the nail clippers very carefully to cut away the skin above the splinter.
Tips %26 Warnings
Soak the infected area in warm water to soften the skin if you have trouble getting access to the splinter.
Most splinters eventually work themselves out on their own.
If you're having difficulty removing the splinter and it's taking you more than a few minutes, wipe the site again with antiseptic solution to continually sterilize the site.
Do not dig at a splinter for longer than 10 minutes. If you've been unable to remove the splinter within that amount of time, see your doctor. Too much poking and prodding will lead to tissue damage.
Be sure you are current on your tetanus vaccine. If a splinter comes in contact with dirt or animal dung before it punctures your skin, it could potentially be carrying the tetanus bacteria.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact a physician or other health care professional before engaging in any activity related to health and diet.
