Help! Ankle Problem?

I hurt my ankle really bad about 1 year ago @ Kings Island. But most of the time, still when i step on it, there's like a searing pain. But the problem is, sometimes it doesn't even hurt at all! So sometimes it hurts really bad and sometimes its like it doesn't hurt at all. What should i do?????? HELP!
Answer:
i am having the same prob with my ankle right now too.. i think u shoul dgo see a doctor.
you could have damaged the muscles or tendons. That's why you still have pain. I'm assuming you did not see a doctor at the time of the injury. That would've been the best scenario. You really need to see a medical doctor and get this examined. This can turn into a worse problem down the road. For now apply an ice pack for ten minutes, several times a day.
Sounds like gout. Its also intermittent.Pain will drive you nuts.No cure but medication helps
It sounds like you have a hairline fracture of a bone in your ankle - when you put pressure on it in a certain way, you force the crack in the bone to begin to open up and the pain drowns you. But when you put pressure on it in other ways, you force the bone to stay closed and the pain doesn't appear. Get an X-Ray or an MRI to find the crack, then get it casted for 6 weeks.
I would really suggest seeing your Dr and seeing if he/she thinks that you need an MRI. Sometimes we may do damage to muscles and tendons that can take longer periods to heal...esp if you have not cared for it properly.
Go to your foot doctor for a diagnosis.
