Help to quit smoking?

Hi all,
I am currently on zyban. The first 3 days you can smoke on it. I am finding it very good but when i take my tablet in the morning im finding it is hard at night with my cravings. Does anyone know anything else that can help me aswell?
Answer:
Have a peppermint each time you crave a cigarette, the craving will go away. And to have lots of water, and the nicotine will wash outMake sure you get a lot of fresh air and exercise, it will help your brain recoverhave faith
chew some gum
have some ice cream and play some music
You might ask the Dr. who prescribed the Zyban if it's OK to add a nicotine replacement product to take care of your evening cravings.
Read the magnetic diet, it has a section on how to control cravings. You can read the book online free of charge at http://www.magnetic-diet.com/book...
I would have lots and lots of hard candy, gum, suckers, etc...lots of times when people stop smoking it's the oral fixation that they have the hardest time with. When you find the urge to smoke, try eating a sucker or sucking on a piece of candy. Even having a straw in your mouth or a toothpick seems to help. I would NOT use a patch...especially at night since they can cause horrible nightmares if you put a patch on before bed. Best of luck to you!If the zyban doesn't work...ask the doctor about a new medication called Chantix. It's great. It works by tricking your body into thinking that it has nicotine because the medication binds to the receptors in your body and make it think it's getting nicotine when it's not. I've heard great things about it...only problem is that it can be a little expensive and sometiems insurance companies don't cover it.
Try a quit smoking clinic if such clinics exist.
Here is an excellent site with some wonderful options 4 U. Check it out鈥︹€?.
