HELP! can i get some hangover advice?

I was out drinking last night, drank a ton of water to prevent dehydration, even ate a full meal and snacks. I woke up this morning and felt pretty decent, but I have since had two episodes of diarrhea. Is this typical? How long until it goes away? I keep drinking water to try to restore what I lost, but I don't know if there's anything else I can do.
Answer:
Be careful drinking "a ton of water" since you can actually drink too much water. People can actually die from drinking too much water. Hearing that drinking water can prevent hangovers rarely includes the important information about how much water. I would suggest easing up on the water and trying to get back to normal eating habits. Also, it may not be the alcohol or water making you sick. You may have just picked up a bug and timed it perfectly with your night out. In this case you still want to try and get back to your normal diet, but regardless you probably have to wait it out.
eat coconut macaroons
might be the type of drinks you were drinking
to prevetn a hangover you drink 2 pints of water and take a pain killer this helps alot thats all i got to say about this and maybe you drink to much water cus yea your body isnt absorbing it
I am a bartender and the best cure besides not overindulging is to eat saltine crackers and water and take a couple of aspirins The salt in the crackers helps you to retain the water,as for diarrhea i have never heard of that but I have heard that if someone puts eye drops in your drink it can cause diarrhea.
eat some bananas.
I can't believe some guy actually asked a question over the internet about his chili hole.
well you drank water and didn't have a hangover. the extra water instead of being urinated caused the diarrhea, or it could've been something you ingested which caused you to try and flush it out
don't get drunk and you wont need advice.
"Consumption of alcohol affects the body's capability to absorb water - this is often a symptom that accompanies a hangover after a heavy drinking session. The alcohol itself is absorbed in the intestines and as the intestinal cells absorb it, the toxicity causes these cells to lose their ability to absorb water. This leads to an outpouring of fluid from the intestinal lining, which is in turn poorly absorbed. The diarrhea usually lasts for several hours until the alcohol is detoxified and removed from the digestive system. Symptoms range from person to person and are influenced by both the amount consumed as well as physiological differences. Alcohol-induced diarrhea is often accompanied by "the follow through" where a feeling that the patient is going to break wind (flatuence) instead becomes an uncontrolled episode of diarrhea."RemediesBurnt toast - The carbon in the charred bread acts like a filter in the body attracting the impurities released during alcohol metabolism. Emergency rooms use carbon use a carbon mixture which there is alcohol poisoning and the success of over the counter remedies for hangovers have carbon as their main ingredient. Eggs - Eggs provides energy and also contain a substance (Cysteine) that breaks done toxins that cause hangovers.Bananas - Provides lost electrolytes and especially the potassium lost due to alcohol's diuretic effect. .Water - since you body is dehydrated drinking water after a night of drinking is a good idea. It will also help dilute the leftover byproducts in the stomach. Fruit juice - the fruit sugar helps to naturally increase you energy and it also increases the rate at which your body gets rid of the toxins that are left over from alcohol metabolism. It also helps the body replaces vitamins and minerals depleted during this metabolism.
